What is a Yak snack ?

Himalayan Yak Milk Chews make a fantastic and delicious dog chew! They are digestible, long-lasting, hard but not too hard, low-odour, natural, healthy, and non-staining. When they are being chewed, they smell a bit like smoked cheese. Yak milk chews can last for hours with most dogs.

The yak cheese sticks are made from an ancient drying process and are all natural. There are no added chemicals or preservatives. They are very hard treats, so they tend to last your dog a long time. Himalayan dog treats are gluten free, surprisingly low lactose, and high in protein.

Important YAKERS FAQ’s :

Use the whole treat! Once your dog has enjoyed their YAKERS chew, simply take the small end piece that is left (usually around 3-4 cm) and place it in the Microwave for 30 to 60 seconds. The end piece will hiss, and begin to puff up, much in the same way that Popcorn does, just without the Popping noise! When the Piece has stopped puffing up, it will be Hot so you need to let it cool first before giving back to your dog. The texture of the YAKERS dog chew totally changes to now be a soft, honeycomb crumbly treat – delicious!
